Well, be aware summers are going to take a toll on you this time. We are already bearing the brunt of scorching hot sun. However, Summers are inevitable and one has to take some precautionary steps to fight summers.

Believe me you can easily get rid of the havoc summers cause by embracing some practical ideas.

Here are the 10 steps to follow:-

1. Water contributes 70% to your body weight. So, make sure you drink plenty of water everyday. The     amount of water intake depends on how much you stay out under the sun and the nature of environment you work in.

2. Wear loose and comfortable clothes. Choose fabrics such as linen or cotton for your clothes to keep your skin healthy.

3. Cover your face and arms whenever you move out of your house. Believe me this works if you want your skin to stay healthy and fair.
Many researches around the world have revealed that exposure to sun for long hours is the major cause for skin cancer and can make you look up to 10 years older.

4. Try to eat fruits such as watermelon, melon, mangoes, lemons during summers as these fruits are packed with essential nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin A, Vitamin B  required by your body. These fruits also have a lot of water inside to keep your body temperature regulated.

5. Have a lots of raw vegetables. Cucumbers, tomatoes and many more nutritious vegetables improve your immunity levels and prevent you from catching communicable diseases.

6. Avoid eating fried food. Use oil in moderate quantities in your dishes. Use olive oil to keep your heart healthy.

7. Use sunscreen lotion with spf level between 25-45 depending on your skin type and the climatic conditions you live in.

8. Do not forget to work out. You not only improve your physical appearance by working out daily, but also make yourself biologically strong to fight against diseases. It also helps you relieve stress in today's hectic living conditions.

9. Try to drink buttermilk or Lassi as we call it in India. It is known to keep you cool. Also have curd to fight body heat.

10. Do not expose yourself to sudden temperature changes as this can make you more vulnerable to seasonal diseases.
